Add an item anywhere inside a list

Right now you are restricted to entering an item at the top of the list when you hit the + sign. When you add a new item, then add your next item is added directly below the previous item. You should be able to select an item, it should highlight the text to show it is selected. Then hitting the + sign should add a new item below the selected item. Additional functionality would allow to to add a new item above the selected item. This is a work around until items inside lists can re rearranged by dragging.

I agree but not sure what you mean by "until items inside lists can re rearranged by dragging"...you can already do that by clicking the EDIT button (icon with lines). You can also currently hold and drag an item to the right...to indent or get option to delete it. Would be nice though to also be able to drag it up or down as another option after holding.

Indee, the dragging to make a sub-task is very handy. Dragging it up or down would be handy at that point.
I would like to suggest that new items will be added just below the currently selected task, and if this is a subtadk, that the new item will be a subling to the subtask, as it happens in many apps like OmniOutliner etc.
Thanks! I already like Pocketlists very much. Keep going!
